About
Built by
Luko designs.
Hostdrop is a project by Luko designs — a small studio that likes making the web feel less complicated. Hostdrop came out of a simple question: why should putting a website online take hours when it can take seconds?
We keep it focused on the essentials — upload your files, get a live address, and share your work. No dashboards to learn, no configuration to wade through. If you have a portfolio, a project demo, or a simple site to put out there, Hostdrop is built for exactly that.
Good to know
A few common
questions.
What kind of websites can I upload?
Hostdrop hosts static websites made with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Upload files, a folder, or a ZIP containing index.html. If you use a framework, build it first and upload the generated output, such as your dist folder. Server-side applications aren’t supported.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Sign up with email or continue with Google to upload websites and manage your deployments.
Can I change my website’s address?
Yes. Open your site’s settings and choose an available slug using lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes. Your website will then be available at /s/your-chosen-name/.
How do I update my website?
Open your site’s management page and upload the updated files. Keep the page open until deployment finishes. Your site keeps its address when you redeploy.
Can I connect a custom domain?
You can save a custom domain in your site’s settings and check its CNAME record. Custom-domain serving is not available yet; use your assigned Hostdrop address to visit and share your site.
